Summer Fun

Some cool stuff has happened recently and here it is:

For the 4th of July weekend, Jason, David, Boxy and I went to Ra-cha-cha [Rochester] to visit Ben and Shell. Friday night, the 1st, was Ben's birthday so we chilled at his place in Ra-cha-cha and drank some beer. Ben's new house is amazing. It all has that Rochester feel but his house is so much fancier than any other I've ever been in. Guess my relative's aren't as fancy as Ben's family. It was also a bit weird because it was the first time I'd ever been to Rochester without my mom or some family member. I've gone to Rochester a lot in my life, and was even born there because that's where my mother was raised and we had a lot of relative's there when I was younger. Strange.

Saturday I went to Jason Clark's graduation party. My cousins from Lousiana were there (Valerie, Conner, and Logan) as well as my aunt Sara, aunt Theresa and of course, Jason's family. It was funny because I showed up before my mom and was bombarded by cousins I didn't really know who were all exclaiming about how beautiful I'd become. That was weird for me because I hardly ever get the beautiful card, I'm usually described as "cute" which I like a lot but still it was interesting. I got to see my cousin Danielle for the first time in like 6 years, she didn't even recognize me. Another interesting aspect of this party was the diversity. Jason's friends with a lot of black kids so there was the black table, a couple white tables and two tables of Mohawks. Haha, I had a great time and Mom and I went shopping at the outlet malls after the party.
I returned to Rochester afterwards for a party at Shell's house. We got drunk played a Mary-Kate and Ashley board game and watched Freddy Got Fingered. A good time indeed.

Sunday was the major day at the Ben's cabin. We hung out with his family, drank Sangria and played a lot of cards. There was so much good food everywhere and free alcohol. The fireworks were absolutely amazing! The lake community that the cabin's on hands out flares to every house on the lake and everyone sets them along the lake around 9. It's called the Ring of Fire and was so fucking cool looking. Not only that but the fireworks were ridiculous, and I mean it. The lake community doesn't do it's own fireworks show, but the families along the lake buy their own fireworks. That is why the fireworks were ridiculous. Some of the families compete with each other and fireworks are damned expensive! I was in awe over how much money some people would have had to have spent. It was so crazy. Fucking rich people. I didn't even know what to do, except enjoy the pretty colors in the sky.

Monday I left for home. I was home for a few days, hung out with family and Mallyn. There was one super awkward night where we went to drink at Jason's but nothing bad or terribly awkward happened so whatever. Mom, Logan, Conner and I went to a few flea markets. It was fun hanging out with them because they're old enough now where they sorta idiolize me but are still chill to be around. Logan and I talked about smoking weed a bit, it was funny. Also, my mom doesn't care at all that I do and I find that interesting as well. I think it's because she's taken to smoking right in front of me now so I guess she feels like she has no place to scold me. Good. But I still wish she would quit or not smoke around me.

Mallyn came back with me to Ithaca on Friday. We missed Fantastic Four but wandered around at the Carousel Mall (and amazingly didn't buy much) so I was glad. I wish she were around more often because I miss hanging out with my best friend. She makes stupid insignificant stuff seem well, insignificant. Thank God for her. Saturday we headed down to Brian's and meet up with Ben, Brian, Mike, and ? [I can't remember his name right now, but a friend of Brian's] for an amusing trip to the city to see MSI. The show was really good and fun to be apart of, especially since they were taping it to release as a DVD later. Coolness, I hipe I'm in it somewhere, but I know my whistle will be. Hee hee. I personally think the show I went w/ Brian to in Conneticut was a better show but NYC was fun too. Besides, I love NYC. I was exhauseted when we got back to Brian's so we crashed there. Mallyn stayed until Monday and I hope she comes back down soon.

Now I gotta finish packing up for Angie, Brian and my trip to Boston to visit Lea and Money. I'm so excited. Only sad note is that Christopher and Happy Greg are being kicked out of the circles friday so I won't see them again for a while. Sad.

No way, crazy Doody, I did not forget you. You just haven't been around. So you should come around, we'll do something crazy and I'll write about it. Or at least have good memories to go with. Love you babe, and no, I haven't forgotten the CRAZY DOODY.
